Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy practice that helps the body release tension, calm the nervous system, and return to its natural state of balance. As a qualified Reiki Master based in the Macedon Ranges, I offer Reiki sessions for people and animals, both in person at my home studio in Mount Macedon and remotely from anywhere in the world.
If you’re tired, depleted, or carrying more than you’d like to admit, Reiki can be a quiet way back to yourself.

In-person Reiki sessions for People
For when you want to lie down, close your eyes, and let someone else hold the space for an hour. Sessions are at my home studio in Mount Macedon or at MG Beauty in Macedon, about one hour including a chat at the start and a debrief at the end.

Reiki travels across distance with the same effect as in-person. You’ll settle into a comfortable spot at home and we’ll connect by phone or video for a brief chat before I begin. Just as restorative as in-person, with the added benefit of staying in your own space.

A gentle, supportive session for an animal navigating a health issue, anxiety, recovery, or significant change. I come to where the animal feels safest. Particularly helpful for horses, dogs, cats, and other companion animals.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice developed by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s. The word combines “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life force energy). A practitioner channels this energy through their hands to support the recipient’s body in restoring balance and clearing energetic blockages.
Do I have to believe?
No. Reiki works regardless of belief. Many of my clients arrived skeptical and were surprised by what they felt and experienced.
What does it feel like?
Most people feel a deep sense of calm and warmth. Some feel tingling, gentle pulsing, or movement. Some feel almost nothing during the session but notice changes in mood, sleep, or energy in the days afterward. All of these are normal.
How is Remote Reiki different to in-person?
Energy is not bound by location. Remote Reiki sessions are conducted through intentional connection and are just as effective as in-person sessions. You’ll lie down comfortably at home while I work with your energy from my studio.
How long is a Reiki sessions?
Reiki sessions run for approximately one hour, including a brief initial chat and post-session debrief. Sometimes, sessions with children and animals are slightly shorter.
Can children receive Reiki?
Yes. Children are highly responsive to energy work. Reiki can support children of all ages through illness, anxiety, behavioural challenges, recovery from surgery, or significant transitions like grief. Sessions are always conducted with the child’s consent and for younger children, it’s often easier to do a remote session, which can be conducted while they are sleeping at night.
